I just have to mark this moment: I finished the first draft on my new novel. It's a WWII-era romance/angstfest/family drama about two Marines and has been such a labour of love.

But boy oh boy, am I looking forward to taking a break for the next six weeks and rolling around in the holidays, friends and Sterek fic like a pig in shit.

Had a great weekend. Saw Rock of Ages, which I heartily enjoyed. I had low expectations, so was pleasantly surprised. Tom Cruise was great, especially “Wanted Dead or Alive.” Diego Boneta is like Matt Doyle’s hispanic brother, and thus very enjoyable. It was a fun movie.
